This is the technical part of the avanced Sambar deer hunting course, designed to improve your marksmanship skills in order to take Sambar deer at extended distances.



This two day course is run by experienced Long Range Sambar deer hunter and
Australian Long Range Target Shooting Champion "Norm Nelson".

In this course you will learn "Precision Shooting Techniques" that will make you a more accurate shooter and successful hunter. Our advanced system of Sambar deer hunting has proven to be the most successful method used today.

This part of the "Precision Hunter"®  will be conducted on a licensed rifle range. The course is limited to a maximunm of three participants in order to provide the highest quality training experience.

The  "Precision Hunter"®  course is conducted from March until November each year. This course is designed to take your hunting and marksmanship skills to the next level. Advanced hunting and shooting skills that are far beyond the basics. Don't waste time and money on a hunting course that teaches stuff that you already know. What is the "Precision Hunting System"

Our Precision Hunting system has been developed over many years of sambar deer hunting. We have taken the most effective hunting methods, our detailed knowledge of Sambar behavior and advanced shooting systems. We then combined them all into a single hunting system that will ensure that you are successful. This system will teach you how to effectively see and take more deer. Personalized equipment advice will match your equipment with the best hunting solution.

 This training course is conducted in the Gippsland area of Victoria. Accommodation is provided.
This course involves plenty of shooting so be prepared to fire a minimum of 60 rounds.

Participants will be given full details of accommodation etc. when the deposit has been paid.

Participants are to bring thier own food, drinks, sleeping bag and pillows etc.

Note ; Participants are to supply their own transport, firearms and ammunition during the course.


Participants should also provide:

Phone with ballistic app. Toiletries, towels, appropriate clothing,  Daypack, Binoculars, Camera, note book and pen.

Participants are to bring their own rifle with a scope fitted with dial up turrets, bipod and a minimum of 60 rounds of ammunition.

Each course is limited to 3 people in order to ensure a the highest quality training experience.

Typically 9am Saturday until 3pm Sunday. Mid week courses are also available on request.
