This course is to be run by experienced Long Range Sambar deer hunter and
Australian Long Range Target Shooting Champion "Norm Nelson".

You will be taught "Precision Hunting Techniques"® that will make you a more successful hunter. This advanced system of Sambar deer hunting has proven to be the most successful method used today.

The  "Precision Hunter"®  course is expected to be run from March until November each year. This course is designed to take your hunting and marksmanship skills to the next level. Advanced hunting and shooting skills that are far beyond the basics. Don't waste time and money on a hunter course that teaches stuff that you already know. What is the "Precision Hunting System"

Our Precision Hunting system has been developed over many years of sambar deer hunting. We have taken the most effective hunting methods, our detailed knowledge of Sambar behavior and advanced shooting systems. We then combined them all into a single hunting system that will ensure that you are successful. This system will teach you how to effectively see and take more deer. Personalized equipment advice will match your equipment with the best hunting solution.

Training is to be conducted in the Gippsland area of Victoria about 4 hours drive East of Melbourne. Overnight accommodation is provided.

This comfortable accommodation is fully equip with a kitchen, showers, toilets and comfortable beds. Participants are to supply their own food, drinks, sleeping bags and pillows etc.

While a lot of the course is conducted in the field, there will be some classroom content.

Participants will be given full details of accommodation etc. when the deposit has been paid.

Note ; Participants are to supply their own transport during the course.


Participants should also provide:

Toiletries, towels, appropriate clothing,  Daypack, Binoculars, Camera, note book and pen.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own rifle so that the trainer can then advise them on its correct set up and possible improvements. The rifle will not otherwise be used on this particular course.

An advanced marksmanship course is also available. This course is the follow up course to the "Precision Shooting course".

Each course us designed for small groups of up to 3 people in order to ensure the highest quality training experience.

 Course Duration

12 noon Friday to 3pm Sunday.

 Course Dates - The course will be run as required starting May 2017.
